Prep Time 10 minutes mins
Cook Time 12 minutes mins
Total Time 25 minutes mins
- 4 cod fillets 6 oz each
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 1 lemon thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup butter melted
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels - this ensures better browning and helps the seasonings stick.
Brush both sides of the fillets with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Place the cod on the prepared baking sheet and top each fillet with 1-2 lemon slices.
In a small bowl, combine all sauce ingredients and whisk until well combined.
Pour half of the sauce over the fish, reserving the rest for serving.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Drizzle the remaining sauce over the fish just before serving.
