BLT Sandwiches
A perfectly made BLT sandwich with crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, and juicy tomatoes.

- 8 slices of thick-cut bacon
- 4 slices of sourdough bread
- 2 medium ripe tomatoes sliced ¼-inch thick
- 4 large leaves of crisp lettuce
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.
While the bacon cooks, slice your tomatoes and season them with a pinch of salt.
Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
Spread a generous layer of mayonnaise on one side of each piece of toast.
Layer your sandwich starting with lettuce, followed by tomato slices, and finally the bacon.
Season with fresh black pepper to taste.
Cut diagonally and serve immediately.
