Brie and Fig Jam Croissant

Ingredients
  

  • 4 large croissants
  • 4 ounces brie cheese
  • 1/2 cup fig jam
  • Optional: chopped walnuts honey, fresh thyme leaves

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Slice each croissant horizontally, almost all the way through, leaving a hinge on one side.
  • Cut the brie into small pieces and gently stuff them into the sliced croissants.
  • Spoon a generous amount of fig jam over the brie in each croissant.
  • Place the filled croissants on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the croissants are golden brown and the brie is melted and gooey.
  • Let them cool slightly before serving. Add optional toppings like chopped walnuts, honey, or fresh thyme leaves if desired.
