Brie and Fig Jam Croissant

- 4 large croissants
- 4 ounces brie cheese
- 1/2 cup fig jam
- Optional: chopped walnuts honey, fresh thyme leaves
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Slice each croissant horizontally, almost all the way through, leaving a hinge on one side.
Cut the brie into small pieces and gently stuff them into the sliced croissants.
Spoon a generous amount of fig jam over the brie in each croissant.
Place the filled croissants on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the croissants are golden brown and the brie is melted and gooey.
Let them cool slightly before serving. Add optional toppings like chopped walnuts, honey, or fresh thyme leaves if desired.
