Brie and Jam Croissant

Flaky croissants filled with creamy Brie cheese and sweet jam, perfect for a quick breakfast or elegant brunch.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 large croissants
  • 4 ounces Brie cheese
  • 1/2 cup jam
  • Optional Toppings: A sprinkle of sliced almonds or a drizzle of honey

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Carefully slice each croissant horizontally, almost all the way through, leaving a small hinge.
  • Open up each croissant and spread a generous layer of jam on the bottom half.
  • Slice the Brie into thin pieces and arrange them evenly on top of the jam.
  • Gently close the croissants and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the croissants are golden brown and the Brie is melted and bubbly.
  • For optional toppings, add sliced almonds on top and put them back in the oven for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Let the croissants cool slightly before serving.
