Ingredients

  • 1 pound of ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup of buffalo wing sauce
  • 1/4 cup of crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup of panko bread crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce tomato, red onion, extra blue cheese dressing or crumbles

Instructions

  • Get a big bowl. Put the ground chicken, buffalo wing sauce, crumbled blue cheese, panko bread crumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in it.
  • Use your hands to mix everything together. Don't mix it too much, or the burgers might get tough. Just mix it until everything is evenly spread out.
  • Split the mixture into four equal parts. Shape them into burger patties. I make mine about 1/2 inch thick.
  • Now, you can either cook them on a grill or in a pan. For grilling: Turn your grill on to medium-high heat. Grill the burgers for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they're cooked all the way. For cooking in a pan: Put a little bit of oil in a big pan over medium-high heat. Cook the burgers for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they're cooked all the way.
  • To make sure they're cooked, the inside temperature should be 165°F (74°C). You can use a meat thermometer to check. The juice should be clear, and there should be no pink color in the middle.
  • When the burgers are done, put them on the buns and add your favorite toppings.
