- 1 pound of ground chicken
- 1/4 cup of buffalo wing sauce
- 1/4 cup of crumbled blue cheese
- 1/4 cup of panko bread crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 4 burger buns
- Optional toppings: lettuce tomato, red onion, extra blue cheese dressing or crumbles
Get a big bowl. Put the ground chicken, buffalo wing sauce, crumbled blue cheese, panko bread crumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in it.
Use your hands to mix everything together. Don't mix it too much, or the burgers might get tough. Just mix it until everything is evenly spread out.
Split the mixture into four equal parts. Shape them into burger patties. I make mine about 1/2 inch thick.
Now, you can either cook them on a grill or in a pan. For grilling: Turn your grill on to medium-high heat. Grill the burgers for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they're cooked all the way. For cooking in a pan: Put a little bit of oil in a big pan over medium-high heat. Cook the burgers for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they're cooked all the way.
To make sure they're cooked, the inside temperature should be 165°F (74°C). You can use a meat thermometer to check. The juice should be clear, and there should be no pink color in the middle.
When the burgers are done, put them on the buns and add your favorite toppings.
