Ingredients
  

  • 1 package store-bought croissant dough usually contains 8 croissants
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh chives finely chopped
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Everything Bagel Seasoning optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unroll croissant dough onto a lightly floured surface and separate into triangles.
  • In a small bowl, combine shredded cheddar cheese and chopped chives.
  • Place a spoonful of cheese mixture at the wide end of each dough triangle.
  • Roll up each croissant from the wide end to the tip, tucking in the filling.
  • Shape croissants into crescents and place on the baking sheet.
  • Whisk together egg and water for the egg wash.
  • Brush croissants with egg wash and sprinkle with Everything Bagel Seasoning (optional).
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  • Let cool on baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack. Serve warm.
