- 1 package store-bought croissant dough usually contains 8 croissants
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh chives finely chopped
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon water
- Everything Bagel Seasoning optional
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll croissant dough onto a lightly floured surface and separate into triangles.
In a small bowl, combine shredded cheddar cheese and chopped chives.
Place a spoonful of cheese mixture at the wide end of each dough triangle.
Roll up each croissant from the wide end to the tip, tucking in the filling.
Shape croissants into crescents and place on the baking sheet.
Whisk together egg and water for the egg wash.
Brush croissants with egg wash and sprinkle with Everything Bagel Seasoning (optional).
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
Let cool on baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack. Serve warm.
