  • 12 slices American or cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons butter melted

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, diced onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently with your hands until just combined - avoid overworking the meat.

  • Bake for 18-20 minutes or until the meat reaches desired doneness.
  • Layer the cheese slices over the hot meat and return to oven for 2-3 minutes until melted.
  • Brush the top buns with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds if using.
  • Place the top buns over the melted cheese and press down slightly.
  • Cut into individual sliders and serve immediately.
