Prep Time 10 minutes mins
Cook Time 12 minutes mins
Total Time 25 minutes mins
- 4 lobster tails 4-6 oz each
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley finely chopped
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Lemon wedges for serving
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Position the rack in the middle of the oven.
Using kitchen shears, cut through the top of each lobster shell lengthwise, stopping at the tail fin. Gently spread the shell apart and carefully lift the meat, keeping it attached at the tail end. Rest the meat on top of the shell.
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well combined.
Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and generously brush them with the garlic butter mixture, making sure to get some between the meat and shell.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and reaches an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C). The shell should turn a bright red color.
Remove from the oven and brush with the remaining garlic butter sauce. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
