Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 12-ounce package egg noodles
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 10.75-ounce can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Cook egg noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess grease.
  • Add chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3-5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • In a large bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and milk. Whisk until smooth.
  • Add cooked noodles and seasoned ground beef to the sauce. Stir to combine.
  • Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and cheese is melted and lightly golden brown.
  • Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
