- 4 salmon fillets 6 oz each
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 6 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 lemon
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- Red pepper flakes optional
- Sesame seeds optional
- Fresh chopped parsley optional
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Mix the glaze: Combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and the juice of half a lemon in a small bowl.
Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until the butter melts and starts to bubble slightly.
Place salmon fillets skin-side up in the pan. Cook for 4 minutes until golden brown.
Flip the fillets and cook for 2 minutes.
Pour the honey garlic mixture into the pan. Baste the salmon with the sauce for 1-2 minutes until it thickens.
