Ingredients
  

  • 4 salmon fillets 6 oz each
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 lemon
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Red pepper flakes optional
  • Sesame seeds optional
  • Fresh chopped parsley optional

Instructions
 

  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Mix the glaze: Combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and the juice of half a lemon in a small bowl.
  • Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until the butter melts and starts to bubble slightly.
  • Place salmon fillets skin-side up in the pan. Cook for 4 minutes until golden brown.
  • Flip the fillets and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Pour the honey garlic mixture into the pan. Baste the salmon with the sauce for 1-2 minutes until it thickens.
