Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Powdered sugar for dusting
  • Butter or cooking spray for greasing ramekins

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease four individual ramekins with butter or cooking spray.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and salt until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, whisking constantly until you have a smooth batter.
  • Gently fold the blueberries into the batter. Distribute them evenly throughout the mixture.
  • Pour the batter evenly into the prepared ramekins. Each ramekin should be about three-quarters full.
  • Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the clafoutis is puffed up and golden brown. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out clean.
  • Let the Individual Blueberry Clafoutis cool slightly before serving. Dust with powdered sugar for an extra touch of sweetness and elegance.
