Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound beef sirloin thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 large croissants
  • Optional toppings: sliced green onions sesame seeds, shredded carrots, kimchi

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper.
  • Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade, making sure all pieces are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
  • Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add marinated beef in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until cooked through and slightly caramelized. Remove and set aside.
  • Slice croissants horizontally.
  • Fill each croissant with a generous portion of cooked Korean BBQ beef.
  • Optionally, sprinkle with sliced green onions, sesame seeds, shredded carrots, or kimchi.
  • Serve immediately while croissants are warm and beef is juicy.
