- 6 cups fresh peaches peeled and sliced
- 2 cups fresh blackberries
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 8 tablespoons 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large bowl, gently combine the sliced peaches and blackberries.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Pour the milk into the dry ingredients and whisk until just combined.
Melt the butter in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Pour the batter evenly over the melted butter in the baking dish. Don't stir.
Spoon the peach and blackberry mixture evenly over the batter. Do not stir.
Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbly.
Let the cobbler cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
