- 4 large croissants
- 8 ounces sirloin steak thinly sliced
- 4 ounces cheddar cheese sliced or shredded
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Add steak to the hot skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until browned and cooked to your liking.
Slice croissants horizontally.
Place cheddar cheese on the bottom half of each croissant. Top with cooked steak and another layer of cheese.
Optional: Warm in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted.
