Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
  • Green onions thinly sliced (for topping, optional)
  • Sesame seeds for topping, optional

Instructions
 

  • Cut the chicken breasts into 1-inch pieces.
  • In a bowl, mix cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Add chicken pieces and toss to coat.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken in a single layer and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through to 165°F (74°C).
  • In a small bowl, whisk together sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic powder, and ginger powder.
  • Reduce heat to low and pour the glaze over the cooked chicken. Stir until chicken is coated and sauce thickens slightly, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, if desired. Serve immediately.
