- 4 large croissants
- 1/2 pound sliced turkey breast
- 1 large ripe avocado
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Optional: Lettuce leaves tomato slices, mayonnaise or condiment
Slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a small bowl.
Use a fork to mash the avocado to your desired consistency.
Add the salt, black pepper, and garlic powder to the mashed avocado. Mix well.
Slice each croissant horizontally, leaving a hinge.
Spread a generous layer of seasoned avocado on the bottom half of each croissant.
Layer slices of turkey on top of the avocado.
Add optional toppings like lettuce or tomato if desired.
Gently fold the top half of the croissant over the filling.
